Merry Christmas, everybody! Unlike many other slack-ass bloggers, I will not be “taking a break” away from the Internet to celebrate. It helps, of course, that my family are all thousands of miles away and it’s way too hot to make a turkey, but there you go. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Damn hot. We had originally planned to go to the beach but the sun was so strong I’d never have survived. Instead we stayed home and watched a bunch of movies. I’m nearly done with the sleeves on my Weasley sweater though!

It’s never too hot to cook a turkey. I see it as punishment for our colonial heritage of stealing Australia.
