I’m all for Barbie ditching Ken, but what marketing wizard came up with “Blaine the Australian boogie boarder”? I’ve never heard of a single Blaine in the past two years.

Maybe we’re misreading the situation. Maybe Blaine is Barbie’s new gay best friend who’s introduced her to nightclubs and Mardi Gras parties. 🙂
Hey I think Baline is a cool name…..but are there really any Blaines in Australia?
Based on the fact that both Claire and I live there and we’ve never heard of one, and neither has any other Australian I’ve spoken to, no.
