Thanks to the wonders of gmail swap, Snookums and I are now the proud owners of Gmail addresses. Go on, send me an e-mail! I’m kris.howard@gmail.com. (Snookums would rather I not post his for spam safety, so e-mail me if you want it. But you can probably guess it anyway.)

Ack! I’m so jealous! Can I have an invite for my birthday? Pretty pleeeease?? 😉
If they give me any! So far I haven’t gotten any invites to distribute.
Hooray!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂
what’s the appeal of gmail, anyhow? i thought it was supposed to be all spammy.
Nah, it’s supposed to have really good anti-spam stuff. Plus they give you a whole gigabyte of space, which is nice considering I have to empty out my Yahoo account every week or it’ll fill up.
I should clarify further – Google’s eventually going to roll this out to everybody, so it’s not like having access now is super special or anything. The only attraction to getting in before the rush is so you can have a good e-mail address before they’re all taken. I figured “kris.howard” wasn’t too common, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. And Snookums would’ve never gotten “snookums” if he’d waited at all. I don’t reckon you’ll have much of a problem with “brigita”. 🙂
you convinced me! i signed up through blogger’s open invite. 🙂
Huh. I looked for blogger’s open invite and can’t find it anywhere. Am I missing something?
Dammit! You have to have an active Blogger account, and mine hasn’t been touched since 2002.
Same thing happened to me, Moire… That’s why I had to beg for one.
Thanks to you, I am now the proud owner of nora.mahoney at gmail.com. I’ve been drooling over gmail for months now. At LAST!
Nice! For those of you wondering, Nora offered a Gmailswap of 1 pint of homemade NH maple syrup. (Hmmm, I wonder if the postal laws allow that stuff to be shipped to Australia…) *drool*
If they do, I’ll be happy to try and send you some. I’ll ask when I mail out my gmail pint. ‘Cause really, it’s not just NH maple syrup, it’s Snook Road NH maple syrup.
What? Really?!
