“It’s a superhero movie for people who don’t go to superhero movies, and for those who do, it’s the one they’ve been yearning for.” Ebert gives SPIDER-MAN 2 four stars. Wow, I can’t wait for this one!

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Related anecdote: Snookums keeps bitching about his phone and saying he wants a new one, yet every time I suggest getting one the plan falls apart because he “wouldn’t be able to use his super kewl Spider-Man cover anymore.”
