Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We celebrated in true blasphemous fashion by eating The Easter Bunny. Seriously. I had been hesitant – “Will it have a face?” I asked – but in the end the smells won me over. It was really good. (Big thanks to Rodd’s nanny for getting us a La Creuset casserole.) It actually reminded me a lot of chicken, but in a good way. We also had lots of taters (precious), and salad and veg and bread and everything good. And now I need to sleep for 24 hours to process all these carbs.

Oh, and I tried the egg mold Jigglers again, and they didn’t work again. They always break in half. I suck.

  1. you don’t suck, the Jello Jigglers suck. you should write Jello and rip them a new one for their shoddy product! yeah, give em hell

  2. So is rabbit something you can buy at your local grocery store? Or do you have an in with local rabbit hunters?

  3. Actually…there is a separate recipe for making jigglers. It’s on the box in America! 🙂

  4. We have an “in”, Tricia… It’s Ma and Pa Snook! They gave us one a long time ago and he’s been in the freezer ever since.

    And I know, E. Liza. As you can see from the previous post I linked, I’ve been trying to get them to work successfully – using the recipe – for years now. I just can’t figure out what’s wrong: whether Australian Jello comes in different size packs and my ratio is off, or whether it’s not as strong or something.
