Was he actually the host for that episode? Or did they just get him in for the commercial? Because you’re right, he’s totally brilliant.

Nope, just that one sketch. (IMDb says Tarantino was the host). And only (I assume) because he’s totally the sort of actor they get to do the commercials for life insurance that only air on CBS during Price Is Right– at least, that’s the only place I see them.
