“Arrested” alumni reunite for Fox pilot. I’d give any show that Mitch Hurwitz is involved with a try, but with Bateman, Arnett, and Winkler involved? I’d like to pre-order the DVD, please. (That said, the Snook and I can’t figure out what the hell the “Australian” show is that it’s supposed to be based on. We’ve never seen it.)

MADISON, WI (Journal of GI Cancer): “A 30-something woman’s cancer and all post-op complications spontaneously arrested the evening of April 15th. While her doctors are mystified by the development, the patient says it might have something to do with her complete and total joy upon reading news related to ‘upcoming television programming.'”

I think it might actually be the UK series Teachers a Channel 4 Production with Andrew Lincoln (Formerly Egg on This Life!)

It was shown on the ABC in Australia and is hysterical.
The series ran from 2001 for 4 years in the UK and was shown a few years behind on the ABC.
It is available only on Region 2 DVD (From the UK) I believe.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I saw a few episodes in the UK in 2001 before I left, and I’ve seen it on here occasionally. Weird that they’d classify it as an Australian series though…
