Well, tomorrow’s the big day and people are already queueing up for the Apple Store opening. Gizmodo has pictures from inside, and Lifehacker has tips for “getting the most” out of the store. Their advice: Don’t go on the first day, and don’t wear a skirt. Noted.

They are now lining up around the corner into King Street up to the Construction Site next door. Then they start again on the eastern side of York Street to just past the lights outside the Grace – then on the western side of York Street.

Well on my way from Kent Street to Market Street (state Theatre) I was given a hard time for using the footpath and having an umbrella up in the rain by the “private security” people trying to move people between the barrier groups. I went past at about 5:45pm and people were heading down York Street to join the queue (lots and lots and lots of people!)
