Teacup lights. These are pretty! I always see lovely teacups at op shops but I resist because I don’t have anything to do with them. (We’ve got plenty of cups for drinking and I don’t have, like, a curio cabinet or anything for displaying them.)

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Get them anyway… 😉
I have a stack of Carlton Ware (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlton_Ware) plates shaped like leaves. I love them so much.
Then use them every chance you can!
I’m not averse to using nice stuff. It’s just that we already have so many drinking vessels we’ve run out of room for them. So I’d have to throw out a bunch of old ones first.
