Holy crap. I didn’t realize that Tina Fey’s parody of Sarah Palin’s interview – the part where she spewed random, nonsensical talking points about the bailout – was actually a WORD-FOR-WORD QUOTE.

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Gives ‘it’s funny because it’s true’ a whole new significance, doesn’t it?
Certain people at work have decided that it’s funny* to send me links to whatever stupid thing Palin’s done every day. Today it was the bit of the interview where she can’t give Katie Couric the name of a SINGLE NEWSPAPER OR MAGAZINE that she reads. How hard is it to lie and mumble “New York Times”? Good grief.
*They do this because it makes my head explode every damn time.
So so funny. No way you could possibly parody the original stream-of-consciousness rambling.”I’m gonna find some, and then I’ll get ’em to ya!” Hi-bloody-larious.
They’re just reeeeelin’ you in… sucka 😉
