Unwanted Kittens

Unwanted Kittens. Apparently the NSW RSPCA are putting down 10 unwanted kittens a day this Christmas season. I’m glad that we (and Fiona and the S.V.) were able to save Petey and his brothers from meeting a similar fate, but I’m also pissed that his mother was obviously not desexed by her irresponsible IDIOT owner.

  1. /sigh. It is the same here, especially with people abandoning animals because they can’t afford to feed them.

All of the no kill shelters were filled and we couldn’t just turn the kittens over to be put down, so now we have five cats. I haven’t seen their mother in a long time, so I don’t know what happened. Unfortunately we were unable to catch her.

I blame you and this friggin’ post for my husband’s current ‘let’s get Sparky a playmate’ campaign. grrrr….

  4. Awww… I don’t know about Sparky. He’s a bit older and set in his ways. (Plus he’d totally scare the crap out of a little kitten. Sparky needs, like, a dog to keep him company.)
