Geek Girl Runner Episode 001
The inaugural episode of my new Geek Girl Runner podcast is now available! I’ve been thinking about doing a podcast for a few weeks now, so I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go. This episode features: introduction to me and the show; training update; and review of RunKeeper.

Great podcast!
I’m currently injured, so I’m using stuff like this to remind myself that running is part of my life.
Go the back of the pack!
Enjoyed this – p’raps it’ll get me back out running?
I enjoyed your first episode. I also listen to and enjoy Running with the Pack. It’s nice to hear from a woman around my age who is running at the back of the pack. I’ve thought about starting my own podcast, but I’m glad I found yours!
love love love the podcast – due to computer drive death and now rebirth I was able to download this morning and listen on the train. I am with you at the back of the pack and you sound fantastic. Not too fast at all – and please keep the inflection going up at the end of sentences – you are an Aussie now!!!!
Yay, so glad you liked it!
This so great great great!!! I’ll be downloading runkeeper and although it might be walkkeeper for a while, I hope to improve in 2010. My sister is a triathlete and a trainer, she’s only 10 1/2 months younger than me but looks like a teenager. I’m really committed to enjoying running in 2010 – even if I am the slowest on the field.
Hi Kris, really enjoyed the podcast -it’s nice to hear from someone in Sydney! And your back of the pack point of view appeals to me to -a fortnight ago I finished 3rd last in a triathlon, in a field of 538! But winning is certainly not the point for me, so I’m busy training for the next one, lol!
I’ll be doing my second City2Surf this year, it’ll be great to hear you discuss your training for that later on too.
Looking forward to the next episode 🙂
