What do we think of the Jindabyne Cowl? For some reason I’m a little obsessed with it. I can’t figure it out. I doubt it would look good on me. And yet I can’t stop staring at it and itching to buy the pattern.

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Are you sure you need to buy the pattern for this? It’s a cabled rectangle with buttons on it.
But I agree, it’s all kinds of fabulous.
It looks great! Simple and effective. For $3.50 I have better things to do…like knit! rather than sit there and try to work it for myself.
I mostly just want to see the pattern so I can see what it actually looks like! It’s all draped and twirled around. I couldn’t tell if it really was just a rectangle. 🙂
I’m with Ailsa – lovely, but doable from just the one look (for a knitting guru like you, of course).
