SWINTON looks great, but I loved the random digression about Little Women in the caption. That book was HUGELY INFLUENTIAL in my life too, and I also have never forgiven Jo for not marrying Laurie. (And don’t even get me started on Amy…)

Important Note
This site features content going all the way back to 2000. The posts you’ll read reflect my views and writing style at the time. While I have gone back to clean up a few of them, I think it’s important not to sanitise too much. This site is a record of who I am and how I’ve grown. Any blog post written years ago may not reflect who I am today, nor how I would write about the same topic today.

Oh, don’t get me started on the Laurie/Amy thing. I still spend every reading of the book (or viewing of the Winona Ryder movie, for that matter) hoping that this time it will come out right.
Nathaniel mentioned the name Lawrence for a little boy the other day (not with any real seriousness, just in discussion) and I said he knew he couldn’t seriously suggest it, because he KNEW I would call the poor boy Laurie and he’d forever be trying to stop me.
Theodore? Then he could be Teddy. 🙂
OMG.. I’m the same with the whole Jo/Teddy/Amy thing. I keep hoping that Jo will say yes…
Both Lawrence and Theodore were on *my* shortlist for names for a boy.. but D wasn’t up for it.. LOL
I also have not forgiven Jo for refusing Laurie. And I’ve never forgiven him for marrying Amy of all people. AMY!
