Tomorrow is a Korean public holiday – Buddha’s birthday – so the Bongeunsa temple has a special lantern festival. We went over to check it out at night. It’s so beautiful! For a donation, you can make a wish for your family that is hung from one of the lanterns.

Still getting over my cold from Singapore, but I’m on the plane to Seoul! Thankfully I have someone to look after me this week. See you at the Seoul AWS Summit!! ✈️

Week 10: more walls and ceilings! The wall niche behind the TV is complete, and the TV will be mounted in front of it. We also have dropped ceilings in a couple places, for practical reasons (ventilation) as well as aesthetic. The kitchen bulkheads have been redone now that the cornices are gone. My bathtub is in place and the bathroom floor screed has been poured… 🏠 #renovation
