We had a lovely dinner tonight at @pfistermuehle with Emily Dibber and Clare Dieppe. The purple foam dish (Truffled Potato Soup) was my favorite and I want to take a bath in it. ❤️

Blog post – back in September we took a quick day trip to the Ammersee and went cycling along the lakeshore. 🌤️⛵🚴♂️❤️
It’s been ages since I took a work bathroom selfie! I realised the lighting today was perfect for showing off the stitch pattern on the East Neuk Hoodie. #knitting 🧶
Despite the best efforts of Deutsche Bahn, Emily (the Car) and Clare made it to Munich! ❤️

Many thanks to the local election boards across the US who make it possible for overseas citizens to exercise their right to vote. ❤️🇺🇸 (And also to @votefromabroad and @demsabroadgermany for making it easy to request my ballot each time.)

We are now playing the “drink down the bar and eat up the pantry” game before we leave Germany. I came out of my office after a meeting today to the most wonderful smell… Chocolate sprinkle cookies made by the Snook! 😍🍪

A Ride Along the Isar
We booked our plane tickets back to Sydney for next month. Now every time I do something in Munich, I think about the fact that it might be the last time.
(I made the mistake of saying that to Rodd the other day. He pointed out that, you know, that’s true for everything all the time. I told him to quit being so morbid.)
Anyway, all that is to say I went for an Autumn ride along the Isar today, and I was very conscious that it might be my last long ride here, so I should savour it. I stopped to take several photos. 🍁🍂🚴♀️
I ducked into the Englischer Garten for part of the ride home.
I walked my bike through the Altstadt, where I was happy to see the Christmas tree is set up in front of the Rathaus!
I also grabbed a sunset photo of the Rindermarkt, one of the prettiest decorated buildings in Munich.
Here’s my ride on Strava if you want to have a look at the route.
